The name of this class says it all--Computer Literacy!  We all know technology impacts our lives in many ways.  Being a student who has a working knowledge of computers and technology will help you to become successful in school.  In this class we will focus on many aspects of computer-related use, such as:  file and folder management, keyboarding skills (using the Herzog Method), word processing & formatting, computer terminology, project research, and presentations.  We will also have the opportunity for you to learn in a VLE (a Virtual Learning Environment) while using Moodle!

This course will integrate business and computer-
related skills using a variety of software and

applications. We will explore the world of business
and technology through hands-on units such as
coding, personal finance, digital/graphics
communications, and spreadsheets. The course will
integrate the PLTW Computer Science 1 learning
objectives. The skills and knowledge gained in this
course will help us to prepare for, and participate in,
our ever-changing global economy.
